Camelina is one of the oldest plants of the world. The annual camelina plant grows 30 - 90cm tall with yellow blossoms. Camelina sativa is a flowering plant in the family Brassicaceae and is usually known in English as camelina, gold-of-pleasure, or false flax, also occasionally wild flax, linseed dodder, German sesame, and Siberian oilseed. It is native to Europe and to Central Asian areas. In German called "Leindotter Oel".Organic Camelina Seed Oil is an excellent culinary oil for salads, vegetables and mueslis as well as smoothies.
